What is this? SLaiDES works with the AI model you choose: Claude (Anthropic), GPT (OpenAI) or Gemini (Google). You bring your own API key, and that provider bills you directly for what you use. Get a key here: Claude, OpenAI, Gemini. Without a key, SLaiDES is still a full manual slide editor: build and edit slides by hand, import PowerPoint, add live polls, present and export.
Keys stay in this browser's local storage and are sent only to the provider you pick. Editing with the toolbar and Design panel never calls a model.
Hidden slides are never shown in the exported deck. They travel inside the file only when the editable project is included.
YouTube and Vimeo players may only play in Present mode and in the exported file.
Video files are embedded in the deck, so keep them short. Files over 40 MB make the deck slow to open.
